In the past, LLF held its Children Halloween Party (“CHP”), where children from several of LLF’s Partner Facilities are bussed out for a day of Halloween fun! With the help of volunteers and incredible partners, LLF creates a safe space filled with candy, games, activities, food and more! LLF also collects and delivers costumes to the children before the event to ensure that every child has a full and safe Halloween experience.
On Saturday, October 28, 2023,The Little Lighthouse Foundation (“LLF”) hosted its 6th Annual Children’s Halloween Party at Miami Design District’s Jungle Plaza. LLF created an inclusive Halloween for children from its partner facilities, who often lack new costumes or safe neighborhoods for celebration. With the help of sponsors and volunteers, LLF provided transportation for hundreds of children to enjoy treats, games, activities, music, and more, all for free. Volunteers distributed Halloween goodies and engaged the children in various fun activities, making it a memorable event for everyone involved. In 2018 and 2019, CHP was held at Treasure Island Elementary. From 2015 to 2017, CHP was held on the sand along Ocean Drive, where children paraded, collecting candy from LLF volunteers at different stations, to showcase their costumes.
