The Little Lighthouse Foundation visits local children’s hospitals at least once a month to provide fun activities, games, arts & crafts, entertainment and more to the patients and their families. Current facilities include Holtz Children’s Hospital, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and the Jackson Pediatric Center.

The Holtz Children’s Hospital is one of the most recognized children’s hospitals in the world, having recently been acknowledged as one of the best in five separate specialties by US News & World Report.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is South Florida’s only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children, with nearly 800 attending physicians and more than 475 pediatric subspecialists.

The Jackson Pediatric Center provides services for children who receive Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) which is an alternative to at-home care. The children in the program suffer from chronic conditions which prevent them from attending school regularly. At the Jackson Pediatric Center, they are able to receive their treatment as well as continue their education with an on-site teacher.
