Childrenโ€™s Home Society of Florida (CHS) is a shelter for children that have been removed from their parents care and their homes due to domestic issues (abuse, neglect, etc). Children may stay at CHS for several days or up to a year depending on their specific situation. Children range in age from newborns up to the age of 12.

The Little Lighthouse Foundation volunteers interact with CHS children in a variety of activities including, arts & crafts, sing-a-longs, group games, and more. Program activities change each month, and are led by an LLF Chapter Leader. The Little Lighthouse Foundation also provides a healthy snack and beverage for children during the session, and the children keep any completed projects.
