Story Hour #VolunteersWithAVoice Presented by Beyond Protocol with Tannera Willis

We started the week with DGFG Live, #VolunteersWithAVoice Story Hour with Tannera Willis. Tannera Willis is a Courageous author, mother, business owner, and motivation advocate. Tannera is the owner of The Amazing Corner their goals are to encourage others to reach their own. They encourage this through meditation, prayer, acts of kindness, acts of service, etc. Tannera’s journey towards publishing was in part fulfilling her son’s dreams of being a superhero. Her son, Che Willis Jr., has been her core inspiration, co-collaborator, and superhero. The duo wrote “The Amazing Corner”. Their efforts together published today’s reading “The Amazing Wethead’s And Friends, Coloring Book”. This story encourages all ages, ethnicities, religions, classes to come together to be amazing. To be amazing is by being our best selves in the face of adversity and celebrating diversity in the world. Whether at school, home, in the community, etc. we can make a difference. This story tells of the superhero “wet head” doing just that. Wet head successfully helped the town’s jeweler get his Jewels back by effortlessly capturing the Jewel thief.

Fit Club Presented by LaCroix with Alexis King

On this week’s Fit Club segment, LLF got fit with Model Alexis King from Select Model Miami. Alexis shared with us her love of fitness and ambition towards volunteer efforts. Alexis’s routine consists of core building and body twisting workouts that will leave you feeling energized.

6-Gorilla (low moving lunge)

10- frog jumps (Hips)
