Mario is a multi-talented man, mainly known for his music career with top singles like “Let me Love You”, but he is also an actor. Mario has starred in the musical Rent, films such as Step Up and the hit TV series, Empire. He hasn’t stopped there; Mario is currently releasing music and has been throughout 2020! He brings passion and energy into all he does, which is why we loved having him on this week’s Story Hour for #VolunteersWithAVoice!
Mario read I am SImba by John Sazaklis. Along with being from one of the greatest Disney movies, this story is one about perseverance. Against all odds, Simba is able to be strong and grow from the experiences that happened to him. It’s a great lesson to teach kids and adults alike. Make sure to watch our full IGTV story to listen to Mario read, and sing, the whole story!
