Heather held the title of Miss Fort Lauderdale 2020 and is the current Miss Broward County 2021. She took part in the Miss Florida USA competition in 2020 and won 2nd runner-up out of 86 women from all around Florida. In addition, she was the youngest competitor to make the top 5. She plans to take part in the competition again this summer in Orlando for the title of Miss Florida USA 2021.
Heather recently graduated law school at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. She was one of the youngest students in her class, and she was one of only 18 students accepted into the Honors program. At NSU Heather remains very involved in student organizations, serving as President of the Real Property, Probate, & Trust Law Society, and Vice President of the Transactional Law Practice Group.
Long-term, Heather has aspirations to work full-time as an attorney, and part-time as a legal commentator for a major news network. She currently works part-time as a TV host for Lifestyle Network’s Florida Food Crawl and Oceans. She hopes to one day host her own legal television show.

This Wednesday for Mindful Hour presented by LaCroix Sparkling Water, we were joined by Dr. Holly. She has a doctorate in physical therapy, is a certified yoga instructor, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Dr. Holly started her own practice after quitting her corporate job, and the pandemic allowed her to get her business started. She uses an innovative approach to physical therapy by incorporating yoga, which is something that few physical therapists use. She says that yoga allows for a mind and body connection that can really be beneficial when helping patients recover.
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Holly graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Kinesiology. She received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Miami and is now a Miami resident. Today, she offers a program called Rx Yoga that creates a custom wellness program to help patients get their minds and body aligned.
For Dr. Holly’s segment on Mindful Hour presented by LaCroix, she takes us on a yoga animal journey through the safari. On this journey, she guides us through yoga poses that resemble safari animals. The poses included in her segment are listed below:
- Focus meditation for trip
- Bear walks
