Day at the park

The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Day at the Park program has provided over 700 children with an all-expenses paid trip to a local Miami attraction over the past three years!

Day at the Park invites local community groups, youth camps, homeless shelters, orphanages, and The Little Lighthouse Foundation partner facilities to a bring their youth on a complimentary summer field trip, including park admission, a commemorative t-shirt, lunch, and competitions for prizes! Youth can participate in team scavenger hunts to win backpacks filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Volunteers show support by distributing t-shirts, organizing and assisting scavenger hunt groups, and leading arts & crafts projects hosted throughout the day. Day at the Park is one of the best Little Lighthouse Foundation programs for large volunteer groups, whether for corporate or social purposes.
