Non-Profit Events/Marketing Intern
Hourly Rate: Stipend to cover gas and parking costs
Hours Per Week: 2 – 3 days a week, 10 – 15 hours total
Requirements:
• Juniors/seniors preferred, but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be motivated and passionate
Desired skills and qualities:
• Detail oriented
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Able to follow instructions
• Positive demeanor
• Good listener
• Great work ethic
Intern will assist in:
• Setting up programs for children
• Event coordination
• Maintaining relationship with volunteers
• Volunteer programs
• Posting and managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
• Managing the calendar of events and programming
• Making sure the website is updated as needed
• Facilitating the design of flyers and e-vites
• Video production (training will be provided)
